Independent audit affirms Appriss Health’s PMP Gateway, PMP AWARxE, and OpenBeds technology meets rigorous industry security guidelines
Louisville, Ky., January 7, 2021 – Appriss Health, a technology leader delivering point-of-care and data-sharing solutions that improve public health outcomes, today announced it has completed the Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 2 audit for its Appriss Health Ecosystem Services System.
Conducted by A-LIGN, a licensed CPA firm and Qualified Security Assessor Company (QSAC) based in Tampa, Fla., the audit affirms that Appriss Health’s service commitments and systems met or exceeded the trust services criteria relevant to security, availability, and confidentiality established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
“Data security and systems integrity are fundamental to the success of our work with states, the Veterans Health Administration, hospitals and pharmacies nationwide,” said Brian Pearson, vice president of software engineering. “Earning a SOC 2 Type 2 certification provides third-party assurance of our ongoing commitment to provide secure, trusted solutions.”
The audit completed earlier this year covered Appriss Health’s industry-leading PMP AWARxE prescription drug monitoring (PDM) solution, PMP Gateway connectivity and clinical decision support solution, and OpenBeds behavioral health and referral platform, as well as NABP’s PMP Interconnect, which facilitates transfer of PDM program data across state lines.
Appriss Health will complete a SOC 2 Type 2 audit on an annual basis. Current or potential customers may access Appriss Health’s most recent SOC 2 Type 2 report upon executing a non-disclosure agreement. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
